Habitat / Restore The Federation, in celebrating 50 years of service to Baton Rouge neighborhoods this year, partnered with Habitat/RESTORE on Saturday, April 29th for our first community service project supporting our motto, “Neighbors Helping Neighbors”. Present from the Board were Ed Lagucki, Sherry Guarisco, Roby Shields, Angela White and Margrett Fels, who worked at both local Habitat/ReStore locations collecting donations of new or gently-used household furniture, fixtures, equipment, building materials and books for resale. Although rain hampered the turn out a bit, many useful household items and building supplies were collected. Donors were handed Thank You flyers introducing them to the Federation and our mission in Baton Rouge |
